Dr. Kuklenski grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. In high school, he worked at the Kansas City Clay guild and was going to pursue a degree in art. However, his practical side got the better of him, and he followed his Mother, Sally, a hygienist, into dentistry. Sally became involved in dentistry because her father made dentures and knew how fragile teeth can be but how long they can last if people understand the small improvements they can make.
Sally spent about 20 years giving tips and tricks to Dr. Ian before he was up to snuff. If you are actually reading this, please mention it at your appointment to get a free prize. He is really interested in paying it forward and trying to make sure you need as little of his service as possible.
In his free time, Dr. Kuklenski enjoys fostering dogs with his wife, outdoor activities, and building anything.
Rebecca got her official start in the dental industry in 2020. Bringing with her over 10 years of office administration experience, she joined Dr. Kulenski’s practice in 2021. A member of the American Association of Dental Office Management, Rebecca makes sure all of our patients receive quality service and attention from the front desk. Proud to be a part of a fantastic team that genuinely cares about creating healthier smiles, Rebecca will go above and beyond to build warm relationships that last countless appointments. When away from the office, she enjoys quality time with her husband, Bryan traveling and playing golf. Being the proud parents that they are of their 4 loving adult children, their next favorite pastimes are moments spent with their greatest blessings, their grandkids.
I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. I graduated from Concorde Career Institute in Kansas City in 2003. I grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, but have lived in Kansas City for over half my life. When it comes to sports, I’m always rooting for both cities! But when they play each other, it’s Detroit all the way!
I started working for Dr. Ian during his first year as a dentist. I’ve always been impressed with his desire to keep patients out of his treatment room and working towards teaching them better hygiene skills. I really enjoy the creativity that dentistry allows me and love educating our patients on all things to make their dental health better.
When I’m not assisting Dr. Ian, I love spending time with my husband, Greg, our three daughters and two energetic grandsons. I am an animal lover. I enjoy being outdoors, especially in the mountains, hiking, and exploring new places.
JoAnn is our expanded functions dental assistant. She grew up in Raytown, Mo and graduated from Concorde Career College in 1995, giving her over 28 years of dental experience. JoAnn loves getting to know the patients on a personal level and comfort them during their dental treatment. She loves coming to work with a great team that is willing to help each other get the job done, well.

Samantha joined the team in the summer of 2021. She grew up with her 8 siblings in St. Louis, MO where she graduated dental hygiene school in 2016 and followed her family to Kansas City soon after graduation. She’s spent the beginning years of her career in pediatrics and now enjoys seeing patients of all ages, giving the best advice on prevention so you can stay out of the treatment chair. Sam enjoys spending time with her husband and two young kids, reading, and keeping up with all the latest movies and tv shows. Don’t forget to leave your own hobby and pop culture recommendations for your hygienist!
